New Start/End Times for 2015-16 School Year

A reminder: the 2015-2016 school hours are 7:55 AM to 2:55 PM. Please do not drop off your students before 7:25 AM; there is no adult supervision before 7:25 AM. After school, there is no adult supervision after 3:25 PM. If a student stays in the building past 3:25 PM, the student must be with an adult.

August 10th: 6th & 9th Grade Academies (registration)

If your child will be a new DCIS 6th or 9th grader in the fall, please read the welcome letter (for 6th grade students or for 9th grade students) and then register him or her as soon as possible by one of the methods below.

For 9th Grade

Option One (preferred) – Email

Send an email message to: ninthgradeacademy@dpsk12.org that includes:

  • High School Name
  • Student’s Full Name & Student ID number
  • Student’s address & phone number

Option Two – Fax/Mail

Fax this form to the DPS Ninth Grade Academies fax number: 720-423-1507, OR mail this form to:

Option Three – Drop off

Print, fill out, and submit this form to the main office of your student’s current middle or K-8 school before June 5th (the last day of school).

For 6th Grade

DCIS Registration Dates

We will be conducting registration on

Thursday 8/6/15 and Friday 8/7/15

from 8:30 am—3:30 pm.

Please remember to bring the following requirements:

  • Proof of address if you moved recently (ex. current lease, mortgage statement, current utility bill with service address, notarized letter)
  • Updated immunization records
  • Birth certificate
  • Previous school records—all new incoming high school students must provide a copy of their transcripts
  • Custody/guardianship documents (if applicable)
  • All fees (new and old) must be paid
